Hong Kong’s umbrella revolution may be the politest protest ever

The protesters’ politeness may be one of the reasons that, despite changes to dozens of bus routes, companies being forced to ask employees to work from home, and entire neighborhoods made accessible only by foot, the demonstrators have not sparked much general ire from other Hong Kongers. Instead, the students were joined last night by tens of thousands of supporters. Tonight’s crowds are expected to be even larger.

My roommate and his girlfriend got in the shower together and they’re… Talking about politics?

I was expecting to hear “OH GOD, HARDER,” not “George Washington was entirely correct in his prediction of what distinct parties would do to politics as a whole.”

Nope nevermind, there it is, apparently political debate is just their form of foreplay

Due to insistent public demand, I’m going to post about my travel romances, starting with this guy I met in Montañita. He cooks for me, gives me massages, teaches me how to surf, gives me the sweetest tall-guy-short-girl forehead kisses. He even surprises me with ice cream! But the biggest surprise he ever did was telling me that he was a felon in America. He’s been hiding for a year, doesn’t own facebook/gmail accounts, doesn’t even use mainstream websites like Googlemaps in fear that he might be tracked down. I don’t know where he is right now but more than his real location, I just want to know his real name.

Liking him wasn’t illegal right?
